Joining us

Eleven expert consultants, each on several projects.

We recruit rarely and we recruit well. The consultant who scopes a project is the one who delivers it; training happens on work time; and you will see through what you start.

The process

Four steps, and you always know where you stand

  1. an answer within a week

    You write

A CV is enough. A word on what you want to learn helps more than a template cover letter.

  2. 45 min

    A first conversation

With a consultant, not with a recruiter. We talk about what you can do and about our current projects.

  3. 1 h

    A real case

A dataset, a business question, and we look together at how you go about it. No traps, no timed test.

  4. on site

    The meeting

You come to Saint-Priest, you see the offices and the team. At that point, the decision is yours.

Our culture

What we kept from our years as independents

2-M grew out of one person’s freelance practice. Ten people later, the way of working has not changed: continuous training, because an independent who stops learning disappears; billing on time actually spent; and the rule that whoever sells is whoever delivers.

What we added is what was missing: continuity, because a departure no longer puts a project at risk; capacity, because eleven people absorb a scope one person could not hold; and structure, with separate environments, code reviews and tests.

We are not trying to grow fast. Most of the above does not survive rapid growth, and we would rather keep what works.

Frequently asked

What people ask before applying

How many of you are there?

Eleven expert consultants, in Saint-Priest near Lyon, France. That is a choice rather than a stage before growing: we want the consultant who scopes a project to be the one who delivers it, and that stops being true past a certain size.

Do your consultants work full time at the client site?

No. Our consultants work from our offices or from home, on the projects of several clients at once, with peer code reviews. A long posting at a single client loses the variety of subjects, which is precisely what makes people progress.

How does training work?

Continuously, and on work time. The team holds the Microsoft Fabric certifications and sits them again at every major release. It is a habit from our years as independents: not learning meant not working.

What is the remote working rhythm?

Flexible, and discussed case by case. The implicit rule is that the moments that gain from being together, the workshops, the reviews, mentoring an apprentice, happen on site, and the rest is decided with you.

You have no opening that matches me. What should I do?

Write to us anyway. We read speculative applications, and we have created a role for someone rather than the other way round. Tell us what you can do and what you want to learn.

What you would build

The kind of thing we deliver

A flow has four steps, trigger, checks, action and trace, plus a supervision layer that warns a named person as soon as one of them stops.

Write to us, even with no opening that matches.
